Noah Ellis, 11, from Amarillo, TX bagged his first deer ever, a 9-point whitetail buck, on Dec. 29, 2013 on the von Netzer Ranch. He felled the buck with one shot at 120 yards.

Darwin Carruthers of Lacombe, Alberta, Canada hunted this massive Black Hawaiian ram for more than seven straight hours before getting his chance on Dec. 16, 2013. The 5-year-old ram measured a whopping 39 plus inches with 12 1/2-inch bases. This ram was the second-largest ever taken on the von Netzer Ranch.

Byron Carruthers of Blackfalds, Alberta, Canada hunted this large Black Hawaiian ram for more than a day and a half before taking him with one shot on Dec. 18, 2013. The ram measured 36 3/4 inches.

Josh Lofton of Winnsboro, LA. took this impressive Corsican ram with one shot in frigid conditions on Dec. 7, 2013. The ram, Josh's first, measured 33 1/4 inches.

Mary and Tom Graves, from Ridgefield, WA and married for 42 years but acquaintances since their first-grade year there, shared a special moment Nov. 9, 2013 when Tom took this 3 1/2-year-old Mouflon ram. The ram measured almost 30 inches but was missing at least 2 inches from fighting and grazing.

Kent Folse of Houston took this massive Texas Dall ram with one shot on Nov. 6, 2013 after hunting for much of two days. The ram, despite the lengthy drought in the Texas Hill Country, measured 36 inches with bases over 10 inches on each side.

Brandon von Netzer, 12-year-old grandson of ranch owner Garet von Netzer, took this large Axis buck July 6, 2013 after a lengthy stalk. Brandon felled the mature buck with one shot in the neck at 125 yards.

Justin Richardson of Bellville, TX completed his Texas Slam of sheep hunting on Feb. 22, 2013 by taking this impressive Mouflon ram. It measured 30 inches with more than an inch broomed off. Justin took all 4 rams over a 4-year period at the von Netzer Ranch with one shot each.

Byron Carruthers of Blackfalds, Alberta, Canada took this Painted Desert ram on Feb. 20, 2013. The ram measured 32 inches.

Byron Carruthers of Blackfalds, Alberta, Canada took this large Black Hawaiian ram on Feb. 18, 2013. The ram measured 34 inches with bases nearly 11 inches.

Kent Folse of Houston took this big Black Hawaiian ram on Feb. 16, 2013. The ram measured more than 33 inches long with bases measuring 10 1/2 inches.

Jason Moore of Dallas took this large mouflon hybrid ram after a lengthy stalk on Feb. 9, 2013. The ram measured almost 31 inches but had at least another inch broomed off for fighting.

Rick Engleman of Parker, CO., took this large Black Hawaiian ram Jan. 28, 2013 after stalking the animal all day long. The ram measured 35 inches and was 5 1/2 years old.

Carlos Mondragon of Eagle Pass, TX took this massive Mouflon on Jan. 26, 2013 with one shot. The ram measured 31 1/2 inches but was missing almost 3 inches on each side from fighting and grazing.

Frank Renfro of Amarillo, TX took this huge Mouflon ram Jan. 18, 2013. The ram, estimated to be 6 years old, measured 33 inches and was missing nearly 2 inches from brooming on both tips. This monster Mouflon finished the Texas Slam for Renfro with all 4 sheep taken on the von Netzer Ranch. Renfro took each sheep over a 4-year period, with one shot each.

Jeff Breeding of Hopkins, MO. took this Black Hawaiian ram on Jan. 15, 2013. The ram measured 32 1/2 inches with bases measuring 10 1/2 inches.

Tyler Turner of Hopkins, MO., took this Black Hawaiian on Feb. 14, 2013. The ram had almost 2 full inches broomed off. It measured 30 1/2 inches and had impressive bases measuring 11 inches.

Mike Stachewicz of Eagle River, Wisconsin, took this Texas Dall with one shot shooting offhand on Jan. 10, 2013. The ram measured just more than 32 inches.

Sharon Stachewicz of Eagle River, Wisconsin took this large Corsican ram on Jan. 8, 2013. The ram measured 31 1/2 inches with bases measuring almost 11 inches.

C.J. Sims of Burleson, TX took this tan Corsican ram on Jan.5, 2013. The ram measured 30 1/2 inches but was missing some on both tips from fighting.

Alan Krampf, a student at Texas Tech, took this Texas Dall on Jan. 4, 2013. The ram measured more than 31 inches with nearly 2 inches broomed off from fighting and browsing.

Trey Krampf of Big Spring, TX ended a hunt on the last day by taking this huge Black Hawaiian ram on Jan. 5, 2013. The ram measured 35 1/4 inches with bases measuring 11 inches.
